Calling all Trail Runners,
Seeing as it is both summer and cherry season, we thought it only fitting to bring you a trail run festival on Loxtonia farm, which has both Cider & Cherries.
Seeing as it is both summer and cherry season, we thought it only fitting to launch trail running at Loxtonia Farm, home to both Cider, Cherries and scenic trail paths, this November
We would love for the whole family to get involved – we have a 5km which can be done as a run or a fun run/walk and a 10.7km for those who are more ambitious.
Afterwards we will have a coffee truck, food trucks, a cherry stall, live music and cider, beer and gin available, so come and sit in- between the orchards and have a fun-filled day with us on Loxtonia farm
DATE:
The Loxtonia Cider Trail route will take place on Saturday 28th November 2020 from 7h30 onwards
START AND FINISH:
Loxtonia Cider, Ezelfontein Road, Ceres
ROUTES:
There are two routes, a 5km and a 10,7km route. All routes will be clearly marked with refreshment top up points.
HOW TO ENTER:

Refund and transfers available until the 15th of November 2020.
RULES:
The basic running rules still apply. Keep your distance, be courteous on route and look out for other runners. Masks to be worn at the beginning and end of race and whilst on site at Loxtonia.
Self timed event. You will receive a SMS from Entry Ninja at the end of the event to load your time from your devices. Runners have 24 hours to submit their times
REGISTRATION:
All routes start and finish at the Cidery. Runners have to register and do a Covid-19 screening before they leave. No runners will be able to participate without going through the registration process.
FINISHERS:
All runners will receive a post run finishers cider (non -alcoholic options available)
POST EVENT:
There will be Cider, Beer and Gin bars as well as a mobile coffee bar and food trucks for quick and easy access. There will also be music – so sit back, relax and enjoy yourself after a well-deserved run.
